2017 is shit its slow like a crap and every time its is online like slow thing. shit software version I will not happy with this slow shit
its slow and every thing i need to login and every time the code dont how show up in design view. very waste version is 2017.
2016 was quite better I think this people dont have any work they keep on changing version every year so that the people like us suffer while updating code.. example in table there is not option to drag center line to left to right and then if there is option also its choses the width atomatially and some thing wrong happens dreamwear shit error and will close.. what is shit of this piece.
This issue is going on for about SIX YEARS!! Shame on you Adobe! I forsaked DW and i'm using Visual Studio Microsoft now. That's behaving the way it should: things happen.
Adobe solve this and maintain.
How the hell does anybody get any work done with DW??
So frustratingly bad...a complete joke. Same with Photoshop and its bloody automatic brush changes!!!...FFS.
SHITTIES ADOBE PRODUCT
LAG NONE STOP, EVEN I CHANGE MY LOCAL DIRECTORY IT STILL LIKE REFRESH REMOTE DIRECTORY!!!!!!
2019 and the crap is still frustratingly slow, this is supposed to help productivity not bring it to halt! Get it together Adobe!

Performance becomes slower and slower whenever new version of Dreamweaver was released. If we could feel the better performance entirely, I believe it would be the best feature for the next major update of Dreamweaver.
Okay, sorry for the profane rant but it was borne out of extreme frustration. I basically lost a week of work and I'm a week behind on my client projects because of Dreamweaver CC 2019. In the end, I installed Dreamweaver CC 2018 (also dogcrap slow) and then I tried 2017. DW 2017 works fine - no lagging, no freezing. Now I can get back to work. I'll be very wary of future upgrades. Oh, BTW: Photoshop 2019 has problems too. Get it together, Adobe.
I can't waste any more time with this. Dreamweaver is dogshit slow and it's seriously cutting into my productivity and my income. Click, wait...wait..wait. Wait. Fuck this.
Awful, just awful. Why seems like things went to sheet after 2016. 2019 is the worst. I'm ready to cry.
2018 is also shit. 2019 is even bigger shit. Seriously Adobe?
When I code in DW for a long time (half-day) it starts become so slow that it\s impossible to use it. You start typing text, but nothing happens. You wait for a 5-8 seconds and then the text appears. After this you can type almost normally. But then the scenario repeats.
The way out is to restart the computer (!). After computer restart you can continue coding for another several hours.
And then restart again...
Windows 10 on the hardware:
CPU: i7-5960X 8-core 3400 MHz
RAM: 64 GB
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 — 3 cards (2 of them in SLI mode)
Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan X — 1 card
SSD: 512 GB on high-speed M.2 port
Where is the bottleneck? What causes these problems and slow operation?
turn off related files, if you ahve a page with a million connected js or external files, its bogs it down when all you wnat to do is edit the html,
Yup, I'm running a high-end 2018 system, 10-core Xeon processor, 64 GB ram, high end graphic cards, yadi-yadi-ya. "Just scrolling," the code side in split view is excruciatingly slow—not making changes, just scrolling. If I open two windows, then I can barely select a section of my code without going crazy.
Adobe, this is not a flight simulator, it's just a web page!
Ho yes, that's true, with the subscription model, who cares about fixing software, people keep paying anyway, right?

Scaffolding with this crap takes longer than writing the application yourself. When it finally ends, you get a "read me" file asking you to go and make changes manually in your project. Truly pathetic.
How can you take a program that was great and turn it into a bunch of junk. This is the worst pile of crap I have every seen. There are so many things wrong with this cloud rip off I think someone is playing a joke on the consumer
Yeah, interesting, does the development team use the DW on daily basis as user, but not testers?
Dreamweaver used to be good back in the old days; however the dev team just don't seem get it. Its slow and sluggish, the way the code is highlighted means you can't see the cursor, the completion is crap. I have not used it as a dev tool for years now anyway but used to use it for its ui when doing some WYSWIG things - tables. Now i don't ever fire it up. Shame its been run into the ground. Its needs to be more like Eclipse or Netbeans. Do the devs building it build websites I wonder? Do they use it to code? Unlikely...
It's July 2017... Dreamweaver is really slow... It start lagging using only code! I switched to Brackets, and works very well (lost some functionalities of Dreamweaver, but at least it doesn't hang!)
Open manage site settings > Local Info > disable Cache
this might re-solve the issue.
I have never been happy with DW, after today I'm ditching it.
