Switch off popup Notifications
These are annoying. It should be possible to keep updates on but to disable notifications of new features or popups such as "Try GIT". This is spam if it is not possible to disable.
Just installed dreamweaver onto a new PC. Imported/downloaded the settings via sync.
Í'm now getting all these new feature popups like a new user. Bloody annoying.
my thought exactly. Any way to do this?
... Apparently not - went to Dreamweaver -> preferences -> New Feature Guides and the only option is "Reset". Apparently suggestive selling is more important to Adobe than User Experience.
Has this been implemented yet?
Stop the popups when opening Dreamweaver ! ! !
Agreed - thinking about getting another tool for web coding.
This is the MOST irritating thing about Dreamweaver. I need to be able to tell the system, thanks but no thanks, I'm not using GIT.
Yes please give us the option to switch these off, they pop up every time I open dreamweaver even if I read them they never stop!!

Agreed, it's spam if you can't disable. I was googling for this option and can't believe it doesn't exist. Right now you have to try each promoted feature to silence the pop ups.
I hate this junk. It pops-up in the middle of your work. If you want to show them , show when it starts, not 5 minutes later when I'm busy.

While I don't have a major issue with them popping up to point out the new features the first time, I do agree there needs to be an option to turn them off.
Adding a checkbox under...
Edit > Preferences> New Feature Guide
...for "Disable new feature guide" seems appropriate.
