  1. Fix the bugs. Or you gonna lose another customers with a bad review about DW. Its a very frustrating app.

Fix your bugs first, that the only idea I have right now. Sure you can read yourself all the complaints here. Give me a damn good reason to continuing using it once I finished college.

    • Add Bookmarks

Allow us to add and name bookmarks to code and add a separate panel with bookmarks where they are displayed in a listed order like files for example but for the currently open document only. Let us make some bookmarks global so they can be displayed for all open documents in the entire local site.

      • Drag and Drop in Code View

Since upgrading dreamweaver to 18.2, drag and drop in code view (to drag and drop html code) no longer works - please reinstate this valuable feature!!

        • Add view buttons back to the interface

One thing that got removed from the interface that was really nice to have where the Code/Live/Design buttons. I used those a lot in earlier versions and I still need to but now that feature is not as convenient to use and it really slows my work flow down. We also need the content refresh button back. As it is now, the refresh is very unreliable and is is very disruptive to the work flow when the only way you can get the content to refresh is to close and reopen the file you are working on.

          • Implement a development roadmap

It's quite frustrating not knowing when bugs will be fixed so it would be nice if Adobe would implement a development roadmap to give even a rough idea/target of when fixes will land. With the current process it feels like nothing is happening for months until a new version suddenly appears with no warning.

            • Live reload webpage in browser when files are (auto) uploaded

We use only one remote (live) server. We use a CMS to create sites for our clients. So we develop the sites (templates) on our webserver. Because we use a CMS we can not 'live-preview' this in DW.

In our workflow we edit a file and this file gets uploaded by DW to our server. Then we have tot reload the page in our browser to see the changes.

It would be great to somehow be able to auto reload the browser (website page we are working on) each time DW uploads a new file.

              And maybe even sync this…

                • AMP HTML really needs to be an integral part of Dreamweaver

AMP is really beneficial for web site owners. When products like Mobirise AMP come on the market, why is Dreamweaver so far behind? See: https://mobirise.com/amp-website-builder/

                  • Dear Adobe... Dreamweaver CC 2017 is the worst upgrade ever. Please have your software work properly before you put it out

For me who works with your software to make a living... here are some things I don't want Adobe to do.

                    1. Change the interface every time someone has an intellectual orgasm.

                    2. What in the world did you do with the excellent Find and Replace tool? The new one sucks royally!

                    3. Don't keep changing the interface and the button locations (the files panel refresh button. We who work with your software build up "muscle memory" on where things are. Please don't change stuff because you think it's cute.

                    4. This version of Dreamweaver is so bad (CC2017), I've…

                    • MAC Dual Monitor Support

It would be nice to have the ability to split the design and code windows between two MAC monitors. I have two iMac's connected to one another and it would be nice to have the design view on one monitor and the code view on the other. I saw that you are testing it with PC's, but saw nothing about it being tested with MAC's.

                      • Visual web app creator

                        https://www.dmxzone.com/go/33041/join-the-revolution-wappler-is-coming-up

                        From the DMXzone's announcement:
"Adobe Dreamweaver is turning more and more into a tool for hardcore coders and loosing its well-known visual abilities. It's also a truth that Dreamweaver's development has being way behind the latest web or mobile app developments."

I think they are absolutely right!
If Adobe doesn't change something quickly in the development of Dreamweaver, the future of this historic Macromedia's software is destined to an inevitable death.

I just hope that Adobe does not decide to buy DMXzone and make it die as it did years ago with Interakt.

                        • TODO Utility

Utility where comment anywhere with <!--TODO: Do Something--> or //TODO: Do Something and dreamweaver automatically adds TODO comment to a reminder to list. Review list and click on the TODO which would take you to the file comment location then finish task. Many other applications have this feature and it would be helpful to make sure all TODO tasks are complete.

                          • Include Laravel-Blade Syntax-Highlighting

Laravel is the most popular MVC PHP Framework. DW users need syntax highlighting for the integrated template machine blade. Otherwise, a switch to other code editors is inevitable.

                            • Data Objects back in Dreamweaver!

I'd love to see data objects back in Dreamweaver. It writes a lot of the database code for inserting or updating a database based on your form. From there, it was very easy to manipulate the code to meet or tweak your needs. It saved SO much time.

                                • Liquid Syntax Hybrid Mode with HTML and Coloring

Would love for Dreamweaver to be able to support liquid markup with color coding. Also, even though we can switch document types, Dreamweaver still doesn't support .liquid, .inc, .tpl file types. I have liquid markup which is similar to twig in these files. I can switch to twig to get code coloring for my liquid markup but then the html code coloring disappears. Other code editors have the ability to have hybrids like Html (Liquid) so that it reads both the html mixed in with the liquid markup like Sublime Text, TextMate and others.
Also, another big issue for me…

                                  • Disable "Content goes here..." Placeholder text when using DOM Panel

When I teach Dreamweaver, once learners have a grasp of hand coding HTML using Dreamweaver Code Hinting, we cover the DOM Panel and building quick HTML structure using this panel. The trouble is, the code ends up being littered with lots of unwanted "Content Goes Here..." placeholder text. It is a pain to have to go and clean all of this up in the code. For me it makes what could be an incredibly useful tool very painful to use. Can we not have some option to "Disable Placeholder Text". That would really make a difference in my life.
                                    Thanks

                                    • CSS code formatting

Please bring back CSS code formatting. As we all know, auto-formatting is great because we can bash out thousands of styles and clean them up at the end... but forcing every style onto a new line makes large CSS files bloated.

Arguably, we all work different ways but I personally find it much easier to scan single-line styles. You kept code source formatting in 2017 but not CSS; why force all users to work the same way? Please bring this feature back!

                                        Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for such a detailed explanation, your feedback and support is really appreciable.

I have raised this point in the team and we all agree that there should be some way to minimize the size of CSS file in Dw, there being none at this point of time. That said, we have a general consensus on having one functionality that minifies a CSS file or a JS file in future.

Similar ideas have been shared by other users as well on the thread- dreamweaver.uservoice.com/forums/379458-ado..

I would request you to think about this and tell us if this minify CSS and JS tool makes sense for you, I will then merge both ideas together and create a single story for the team to work upon.

                                        Regards,
                                        Niharika Gupta

I need to have back the CC2015 Snippet box style, where you could "Wrap Selection" and was able to put code before and after the selection with "insert before" and "insert after"
