Code hints showing up when switched off in preferences
I am resubmitting this bug because it is not fixed, but someone marked it as fixed:
Creative cloud says dreamweaver is up to date.
over a month and this is still not fixed.
We have fixed this issue for the next release and we marked it fixed for tracking purpose, we tend to keep only those threads open which have open issues.
Also, if you are a pre-release user you can verify the fix in the latest build shared.
This happens if I press return just before a semicolon when editing a PHP file in DW CC 2017.5 (Mac OS Sierra). There is a popup of global variables. It would be great if DW didn't do that.
This is not fixed. I Dreamweaver says it is up to date (still on the same build as when this bug was submitted)
I'd find it useful if there was an easy way to turn off code hint/auto complete for PHP completely. It's very useful sometimes, but not all of the time. When I don't want it, it's a real pain. Being able to easily turn it off would be awesome (i.e. just a simple button).
Today code hinting has started turning up when switched off under preferences.
Super annoying. It didn't used to do this.
