DW18.0(10136) "CTRL + TAB" switching tabs wrong order
We are happy to inform you that we have addressed this issue in the latest Dw 19.1 update. Please update to the latest Dw version and let us know your feedback on the same.
1 year in of full time use, and I still cant make sense of the tabbing order. Its unusable

Now is 2019 version, problem is STILL there! Why can't we set an option to switch as per display order?
Alright Adobe, how many people have to complain before you take action and fix this and the other numerous issues that are reported via this forum?
Please fix this now! Make it a priority, please!

Thanks for the tip Teo Eu-Gene. Didn't notice it was possible to downgraded back to 2017. Was waiting for a fix but seeing Adobe's reaction that is not going to happen.
I found related topic here.
"Tabbing among open files should use the display order"
"Ctrl + Tab switches to document in order you edit as it assumes user would like to work in edited documents and it won't be good idea to traverse through all 20 documents open."
Hummmm... No luck..
I just updated to DW18.1(10155).
But nothing changed and fixed for this problem.
Adobe doesn't wanna do it?
Dreamweaver CC 2018.1 is now live!
Still no reply.. I noticed there's a 'contact support' link on the right now. Just filled this in with a link to this bug. hopefully someone from Adobe lets us know whats going on.
Still no update from Adobe!! Please fix this now.
This has to be the worst/confusing thing to happen since the update. So weird.
Windows 10 with the latest Dreamweaver (10136 build).
Can you please allow an option to be able to press ctrl+tab or ctr+shift+tab and it will go to the next document in the line of open tabs. Right now it is unusable.

Is this issue being considered? We've got no replies about a fix. I've downgraded back to 2017 because I just can't stand 2018's Ctrl+Tab file selection order.
Please fix this now!!
This change is really very frustrating! I switch between documents all the time, and even after two weeks I still can't get used to this new logic. Make this an option, please!
Yes, for long-time Dreamweaver users, this is maddening!! Please give us the option to use your "new" way of tabbing or the traditional, previous way. At least tell us a hack to restore it.

Adobe should NOT have changed the default behaviour of the CTRL+Tab that has been working fine all this time without giving users the option to change it in any other way. This is unacceptable. Please fix this ASAP as it's slowing work as it is now.

it is happening to me too. Version is 18.0(10136).
Say a flow of tabs 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5. If i begin from 1 and ctrl+tab twice. Now is on tab 3. Then I click on tab 1, now its on tab 1. Then I ctrl+tab once, it becomes tab 4.
so in other words, it ignores the click tab selection and resume what it thought was the next tab order from the previous ctrl+tab

I noticed this even when I upgraded to 2018, but it's normal now
I understand your concern and I'll raise same with our team.
We don't have any setting as of now to change Ctrl + Tab behavior in Dreamweaver.
