Apply source formatting breaks tags when next to each other.
When there ara a couple html tags next to each other like

and I apply source formatting, it becomes the following which breaks both of them. In first tag it changes the opening <a to < a and closing to < /a>. In second tag it changes opening <a by adding a line break and tab before the a and like the first tag changes the closing to < /a>.
< a name = "defaultadvancedaliasescharts"
id = "defaultadvancedaliasescharts" > < /a> <
a name = "aaCharts"
id = "aaCharts" > < /a>
Thanks for reporting.
We have addressed few source code formatting issues in our latest Prerelease drop 15104.
Can you please give it a try and let us know if it fixes your issue.
Please find below the invitation link to Prerelease forum,
Still happening in ver 19 build 11193, was this fixed in a newer build?
Few more notes:
This is in version 18.1 build 10155 in case this has already been fixed in a newer version.
In the broken code snippet I posted, the tab in second tag did not render in my message, see attached image for actual broken formatting.
Does not matter if tag does not include id attribute or if name attribute is removed so there is just an id attribute or even if just an href attribute is used, same issue.
Does not seem to matter if they are next to each other as originally indicated in post subject. Happens with text before, between and after each tag. Also does not matter that there is nothing between opening and closing tags.
I understand
tags with an id attribute can also be used like a named anchor instead of an tag and they do not break after an apply source formatting so can be used as a work around until this is fixed.
