Uploaded newst version of DW 2017 yesterday, since that time emmett was not working properly. Also the linting feature is not working - keep getting message - linting timed out, and I put in error on purpose and they are not showing in the htm - both in standard and developer views - using win 7 - have removed DW 2 x and reloaded still same effect. Please get this bug fixed asap. thanks John

When I click on asset (image) in live view, source code are not selected in code view. Everything was working fine in previous build, and this is crucial for navigation in my workflow.

Imporing sites opens dialogue box to choose new "local root folder" but without saying what the user should do. Same with the next dialogue box that asks to select the new "images" folder. I only knew what to do because I've done it before. When doing a find/replace across an entire site, text that is in an open document doesn't get replaced. (It shows up in the search-results list, but isn't changed in the actual document.)

The function find/replace does not work satisfactorilly. The items to be replaced are correctly highlighted, BUT THEY ARE NOT REPLACED by the new item. This happens randomly for example when you try to replace elements in the current document. This was already the case in beta 3 and beta 4 but it does not seem to have been fixed in the final version.

Whenever I type anything in ALL CAPS in the code side, I can get about 7 characters in before Dreamweaver autofills either whatever I have in my clipboard or random code. Pretty annoying as I use all caps to make comments and sometimes alt tags.

Problem: Want to remove the annoying "Unnecessary semicolon" JS linting nag.

According to http://jshint.com/docs/options/#asi, Setting "asi" to true in js.jshintrc should do it. It doesn't work. Tried restarting DW, no help.

CMD-A on the Mac to select all in code view doesn't work! Only from the dropdown menu!

Quick Edit (Cmd+E) fails and stuck in recently update this morning

...you can display the quick edit option run but can't choose a css file to write code... i close the program many times, reopen files, re-write html & css files in certain parts and nothing... quick edit function stuck when you press CMD+E

If I select File> New> Starter Templates> Bootstrap Templates the new css file does not get saved.

I am not getting the changes. Live Reload is save I can see the screen change but it is not actually saving anything. Iam working with a form and changing attributes but the reload is not picking up those changes I have to quit and reboot DW.

Please stop auto underline feature, it is confusing, and on PC causes app to jump

With the latest Update, Word Wrapping doesn't work. It wraps correctly up to a point, but then indents everything to a point where it's a single character per line. Any solutions?

Since the latest update on 2019-12-19, I have noticed the following error message appear while Dreamweaver is performing a find and replace (search and replace) through all of the open documents.

Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded.

Google's search results regarding this error go back to 2003, and the latest seem to be around 2011.

Despite there being an error message saying that the changes won't take place for certain files, all of the search results were changed.

It pics any page it wants to show. I don't even have that file open and it is showing that file. It just picks whatever tab it wants and then sticks to that it does not let you change what file you want to reload even after closing and opening DW.
