    Thank you for reporting this issue.

    We are not able to reproduce the issue at our end.
    Can you please provide the below information so that we can identify the issue and help in resolving it

    1) Are you seeing this on all documents or specific ones?
    2) Is the document opened from local disk or network drive?
    3)It would be helpful if you could also share a video of the issue.

    finally got text in, but can't delete text.

    I have exactly the same problem and are using a PC

    It won't let me type or delete in the design view, only code.

    I'm using Dreamweaver 2019, recently installed on Windows 7 32 bit.
